About the Chronoswiss Strike Collection
The Chronoswiss Strike collection, debuting in 2024 with the Strike Two series, underscores the brand’s commitment to redefining horological design while embracing their signature regulator-style display. Inspired by their historical Tora collection, this new series aims to captivate both enthusiasts and collectors with its distinctive horizontal regulator layout and the powerful C.6000 movement, developed in partnership with La Joux-Perret. Each model is limited to 100 pieces, reinforcing their exclusivity and attention to detail.
Design And Iterations
The design ethos of the Strike collection revolves around a modern reimagining of the brand’s hallmark regulator display. Unlike the conventional vertical arrangement, the Strike models adopt a unique bi-compax layout that shifts the sub-dials to a horizontal axis. This distinctive approach maintains a sub-dial for seconds on the left, showcasing meticulous hand-operated guilloché engravings, while the right side, dedicated to the hours, incorporates a subtle open-work design. Here, gears are visible beneath Roman numerals, offering a refined blend of technical artistry and classical inspiration.
The initial iterations within the Strike collection include the Strike Two H20 and the Strike Two Golden Gear, each embodying a different facet of the brand’s design language. The H20 model, with its 3D light blue dial and alligator-embossed calfskin strap, exemplifies the spirit of balancing bold innovation with intricate craftsmanship. In contrast, the Golden Gear features a dark grey dial enriched by golden accents and framed by a 40mm stainless steel case, elevating its luxury appeal. The collection continues to explore thematic inspirations with models like the Strike Two Highland, presenting a green dial that captures the untamed essence of the Scottish moors. Similarly, the Strike Terra features a brown PVD-coated, lasered dial that evokes Earth’s raw landscapes, imbuing each glance at the wrist with a sense of adventure. With limited production runs and a seamless blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern ingenuity, the collection affirms their place at the forefront of watchmaking, appealing to those who appreciate both heritage and innovation.
ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
Calibre C.6000, launched in 2024, is a remarkable in-house movement crafted to power the Chronoswiss Strike Two Series. It is an automatic-winding calibre that boasts a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and runs at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz). C.6000’s design is specifically tailored to support the distinctive regulator-style display, with hours, minutes, and seconds shown separately —a signature feature of the Chronoswiss brand. This calibre features 25 jewels, a skeletonised Tungsten rotor, hand-polished edges, and a Côtes de Genève pattern. The back of the watch includes a sapphire crystal exhibition case, allowing enthusiasts to admire the intricate workings of the movement.
