About the Breitling Galactic Collection
History
World aviation’s watch supplier, Breitling, launched its Galactic collection as an antithesis to its traditionally rugged pieces. With elegant and streamlined construction, the collection has four versions, Galactic 41, 32, 36 and 44. The later versions of Galactic 32 and Galactic 36 Automatic sought to appeal to female chronograph enthusiasts with their sophisticated and feminine makes. The recently released Galactic 44 models reverted to Breitling’s original robust timepieces, albeit retaining the enhanced style components that identify the Galactic collection.
Features
Watches from Breitling’s Galactic line combine sophistication and powerful performance to satisfy the pickiest watch connoisseur. With case diameters of 32-44mm, each watch sports exquisitely crafted dials available in a variety of hues, and in some pieces, with mother-of-pearl and diamond embellishments. The case itself is made from steel, steel and gold, or 18K red gold for a long lasting and glamorous timepiece. All watches from this line display the date via single or double windows, at the 3 o’clock positions, and incorporate an hour, minute and second hand. The unidirectional ratcheted bezels are adorned with gems or satin brushed in some of the pieces. The dial is protected by cambered sapphire that is made glare-proof from both sides. Most timepieces from this collection possess self-winding mechanical movements for meticulous time keeping setting the pace immaculately for all activities. A wide range of straps and bracelets, from leather to metal, are attachable to the dial. Water resistant from 100-300m, watches from the Galactic collection are COSC certified for the ultimate proof of reliability.

The magnificent watches from Breitling’s Galactic collection find admirers in some of the largest personalities of the world. The famous American actor, John Travolta, is most commonly seen to sport his Galactic watch. Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is also seldom observed without a Galactic on his wrist.

Breitling Galactic C71356L2/BA12/367C distinguishes itself by its original interpretation of the feminine vision of time.
The Galactic 32 is a perfect masterpiece for ladies that combine performance, elegance, reliability with refinement. This feminine and decidedly sophisticated timepiece expresses the ultimate luxury, embodied in its exquisitely crafted black dial supported by luminescent minute & hour hand, with date display counter at 3 o'clock. The iconic winged ‘B’ logo at the 12 o'clock position provides a focal point on the dial above a square box with striped dial design which houses the brands official Chronometer status. The two tone Gold & Silver classic strap adds the elegance to this marvelous piece.... that can be flaunt 100m deep in water with its uni-directional ratcheted bezel, elapsed time can be effectively measured to ensure safety whilst diving. This wealth of design and finished elegance comes with a scratch proof sapphire crystal glass with an international warranty of 2 yrs.
The Breitling Galactic 32 is an impressively substantial ladies sports watch, there is simply no shying away from this on your wrist. The two-tone bracelet design is currently enjoying a ‘moment’ in watch trends and certainly solves the dilemma of whether to wear gold or silver jewellery. -

Breitling is a watchmaker synonymous with the aviation industry through its remarkable invention,the Navitimer possessed by all pilots .moreover , the brand owns the Breitling wing walkers, an aero acrobatics teams.
The brand produces timepieces with a motto of providing the professionals with reliable timepiece and the galactic stands for the name.the 32 mm two tone steel and yellow gold watch Is designed keeping the women professionals in my mind.the bold bezel with Arabic numerals is done it extra finesse.the COSC certified movement calibre 71 quartz movement with in house battery ensures a battery life of 6 years .the sapphire crystal is cambered ensuring scratch and minor nudges protection.
There is no screw down crown and hence the water resistance us limited to 100m.
Overall verdict: meant for woman professionals who love to have a watch rather than a jewellery. Bit on the heavy side.pricing could have been revised to lower rates.
