Backdrop
During the 1920s, an art movement stormed the design community. Called the Art Deco movement, this shift in design philosophy changed the perspective of how products were viewed before. This inspired Longines and the watchmaking brand launched a series of timepieces influenced by the art movement. In 1997, Longines launched the DolceVita collection and in 2023 launched a more petite version called the Longines Mini DolceVita collection.
Features
Fitted with a rectangular case, the Mini DolceVita perfectly displays the many virtues of the Art Deco movement. Carrying forward the legacy of the original DolceVita, the Mini iteration marks the timekeeping duties with sword hands and a small sub-dial displaying small seconds fixed over the 6 o’clock marker. Adding to the bling, the Mini DolceVita displays a series of diamonds fitted vertically in some of the timepieces. These diamonds include the 38 IF-VVS Top Wesselton quality diamonds too.
