History
Before 2017, Junghans had very few collections such as max bill and Meister. But in Baselworld 2017, Junghans decided to expand its inventory. The Junghans FORM was brought in to fill the entry-level segment of the brand. Since the release of this collection, the FORM has been filling that gap with precision.
Features
The Junghans FORM collection is divided into four series, the FORM A, the FORM A Titan, the FORM C, the FORM Damen, the FORM MEGA, and the FORM Quarz. These series are equipped with different features but follow the same idea of a clean, suave, and approachable silhouette. For the Junghans FORM A, the clean dial features a date window at 3 o’clock. Whereas, the FORM A Titan is equipped with a striking 40mm dial offering a sportier approach to the FORM A. Taking a complicated approach with minimalism, the FORM C series is equipped with chronographs on 12 and 6 o’clock markers with pushers adjusted over and below the crown.
Design & Essence
The idea behind designing this collection was to promote the German Bauhaus design movement. The minimalistic designs of the FORM collection take the majority of their inspiration from the German Bauhaus philosophy. The manners and bearings of a German watchmaker are perfectly imbibed in this collection. With no pomp and frills, the Junghans FORM is a perfect way to celebrate the bare necessities of life. A simple, clean yet elegant set of timepieces, the FORM collection stays on track with Junghans century-long tradition and heritage.
