Design
With a clean, tall, and sleek silhouette, the Grand Seiko Elegance collection derives the heritage of Seiko and the opulence of Grand Seiko together. The dauphine-shaped hour and minute markers are not spread throughout the dial but provide an intimate look at its superior workmanship of it. It is a collection in which Grand Seiko’s Japanese aesthetic and the purity of the designs combine to ensure that the elegance is everlasting.
Features
The straps are available in either Leather, Steel or Titanium perfectly fitted inside the lugs traversing the round case. In some cases, the date window is perfectly placed at the 3 o’clock marker. Whereas, with the ‘Snowflake’ Spring Drive version the power indicator is placed between the 7 and 8 o’clock markers. The Spring Drive movement is a mechanical movement with an electronic regulator giving it a precise and accurate timekeeping ability. Adding a sense of avant-garde to the collection, the collection features a set of timepieces that are fitted with a dial cradled inside diamond-studded lugs. These timepieces provide a sense of tonneau-shaped cases but with a touch of Japanese finish to them.
Limited Editions
Celebrating the Seiko's 140th foundation, the Grand Seiko Elegance STGK016 features a diamond-studded index marker on a guilloche dial. Apart from the foundation, the collection also pays a warm homage to Shizukuishi, the home of Grand Seiko with SBGW263 which is limited to just 20 units. Flexing the manufacturing capabilities, the SBGY008 is a limited edition timepiece that is hand-crafted from the scratch.
