Essence
From making aviation-oriented timepieces to GMTs, Graham has a way of differentiating between its timepieces. For the first time, the brand decided to pursue the world of motorsports with the Graham Silverstone collection. To associate itself with the motorsports arena, Graham decided to name the collection after one of the oldest race tracks in Britain, the Silverstone. The RS after the Silverstone stands for RennSports, a racing game simulation that has been associated with Graham for a very long time.
Design & Features
In a bid to incline itself more toward the racing DNA, Graham decided to make the watch look like a lap time recorder with bright colours and big dials. The chronograph sub-dials at the 12 and 6 o’clock marker display minutes and hours, respectively. Be it the carbon accented dial or the tread-shaped straps, the motorsport-inspired timepieces are also equipped with a tachymeter on the bezel. The day/date window is fixed at the 3 o’clock marker. Whereas, in the limited edition Silverstone RS Endurance Red, the date window is fixed at the 9 o’clock marker.
