Essence
A deep-diver, the Edox Neptunian collection is made for the sea. Based on the original SkyDiver from the 1970s, the Neptunian is a perfect companion for all adventures in or around the ocean. A natural evolution of the SkyDiver, the Neptunian is the true embodiment of the brand’s moniker, “Water Champion”.
Features
Made for the divers, this specialised diving instrument is equipped with a uni-directional bezel highly-legible hands and luminescent index markers. What makes this timepiece a diving instrument is its capability to function even at the depth of 1000 meters. Apart from its water-resistant capabilities, the Neptunian is also equipped with Edox’s patented double O’ring gasket system, a helium escape valve, and a bezel with a ceramic insert. All these features coupled together make for a perfect diving instrument. Moreover, to provide the collection with a sense of trust there is the god of the sea, Neptune engraved on the caseback.
Movement
To function under 1000 meters of water, one needs robust movement. Running the Neptunian is the automatic movement called the Edox 80 or the Edox 808. The Edox 80 or the Edox 808 is based on the Sellita SW 200 movement and offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours while vibrating at 28,800 vph.
