With the title of ‘Watch of the Year’ 2018, the Czapek Faubourg De Cracovie collection is an elegant prophecy of Czapek’s future. The third collection inside Czapek’s collection hangar, the Faubourg De Cracovie is named after the place where Franciszek Czapek opened his third boutique in Warsaw, Poland. This particular boutique was very close to Czapek’s heart as it was the first boutique in the country where he was born and fought for its independence.
Features
Carrying the tradition of Czapek, the Faubourg De Cracovie collection reiterates the meaning of a well-designed watch. With two chronographs fitted at 3 and 9 o’clock markers, the Czapek Faubourg De Cracovie collection is a sportier take on a dress watch. Ranging from a white lacquered dial to a guilloche, the collection offers Czapek’s centuries-long tradition of crafting intricate timepieces. The collection is also equipped with a date window perfectly camped inside the small seconds encampment at the 6 o’clock marker. The Czapek Faubourg De Cracovie collection is available in yellow gold, rose gold, and stainless steel.
Design
The Czapek Faubourg De Cracovie collection is a homage to the chronographs produced in the late 50s. Taking its cues from the 50s, the collection still holds the traditional values of Czapek inside its design philosophy.
