The newly launched limited-edition Adventure Sport Chrono watches continue the brand’s pursuit of the free spirit. Let’s learn more about the new launches from the brand.

Exuding Freshness: The Adventure Sport Chrono In 44mm

First up, we have the 44mm Sport Chrono with the ‘cerulean’ blue dial and the signature Norqain pattern. Limited to 300 pieces, there’s a touch of exclusivity that floats around this timepiece, despite that it doesn’t quite offer anything exceptional, considering their existing portfolio. Yet, in all fairness, it’s an expertly executed, consistent, and nice update in the current collection. Patrons of the brand won’t mind seeing an option for the Sport Chrono in the attractive ‘cerulean’ blue dial.

The timepiece is powered by the Norqain calibre N19—an automatic in-house movement that can hold a power reserve of 62 hours. On the caseback is an oscillating weight personalised by the brand, which winds the watch.

Moreover, the double antireflective, scratchproof, double-domed sapphire crystal glass provides clear visibility.

The unidirectional, counter-clockwise rotating bezel, with its knurled design, is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. To add to its functionality, the timepiece is water-resistant to 100 metres. Of course, the unique Norqain pattern on the dial of the watch is inspired by the Swiss mountains.

In Earthier Tones: The Adventure Sport Chrono Day/Date 41mm

Following the same principles, inspiration, design elements, and execution as the 44mm Sport Chrono, this timepiece from Norqain is just another offering of a robust, rugged, and adventurous timepiece. Limited to just 100 pieces, this day/date version of the watch is perhaps a bit more exclusive.

In the past, we had seen a very similar version of the timepiece in the Adventure Sport series from Norqain. That one featured a date display at three, the same green, patterned dial, and a smaller case size of 37mm. The brand seem to have picked up on the canvas set by the Adventure Sport 37mm timepiece and given it a few updates.

The updates, of course, depend on who sees them as updates. If you like your timepieces cleaner, perhaps the version without a chronograph is more up your alley. This one, however, features a tri-compax layout, which indicates the chronograph information, and a day and date display at three o’clock.

The knurled bezel—in 18-karat 5N red gold with an aluminium ring featuring black DLC treatment—presents details that differentiate it from the 37mm Adventure Sport version. The watch uses the same movement as the 44mm ‘cerulean’ Adventure Sport Chrono and offers the same water resistance of 100m.
