A custom piece, made with the direct involvement of Jacob Arabo, founder of the brand. On the ankle of Rihanna—a long-term friend of Jacob & Co—was this white gold square watch set with round- and emerald-cut diamonds. While this could easily be mistaken for a Brilliant watch, it’s not one that you’ll find in the brand’s Brilliant collection.

Nita Ambani With A Jewelled Jacob
The paparazzi went a little crazy at a recent sighting of the Ambanis—Mukesh and Nita—when they turned up for the birthday celebration of their granddaughters. The richest person in India and his wife posed with the children in their arms. Not far from the child on Mrs Ambani’s arm was a high-complication jewelled Jacob timepiece—the Astronomia Fleur de Jardin Tourbillon Pink Sapphires.
The exceptionally decorated wristwatch is from the line of timepieces that are literally like showcases. With clockwise and counter-clockwise rotations, the exposed movement within features various decorated elements, a plethora of coloured precious stones, including a jewelled Jacob signature—a Jacob-cut tsavorite, totalling 0.81 carat. Edges of the domed glass box are lined with pink sapphires, which are mentioned in the name of this novelty with a flying tourbillon.
