A hot, sunny afternoon in Mumbai saw an Indian superstar and English football legend come together for the first time. TAG Heuer and Ethos Watch Boutiques hosted Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor and Former Premier League legend & English striker Alan Shearer at the Summit Boutique, Palladium Mall, to celebrate the launch of the Official Premier League watch.
But it wasn’t a usual affair by any means (no ribbons cut, no champagne glasses involved). After all, this was about the Premier League watch & those present had to prove their mettle by playing a goal scoring competition at the venue!
Two teams of two players each were made for this challenge: Ranbir Kapoor and our very own CEO – Pranav Saboo, were one team, and Alan Shearer paired with the TAG Heuer India head – Ashok Goel, in the second team. Besides the ‘seriousness’ of the competition, the crowd and media gathered in huge numbers and cheered for their favourite team.
After the game, Ranbir took some time out to visit the store and even shared a light moment with our CEO, Mr. Saboo.
