ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
The Calibre Elite 670 is an automatic movement that promises reliability, versatility, and pleasing aesthetics. It was first introduced in 1994 and received the prestigious Best Movement of the Year award at Baselworld. Initially featured in the sophisticated Zenith Class dress watch, its main specifications include a 50-hour power reserve, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and three hands with a date aperture. The movement is finished intricately, displaying perlage, Geneva stripes, and circular graining, all of which showcase the high level of craftsmanship involved in its creation.

For me, the most striking feature of this watch is the seconds sub-dial shaped like a Bull's Eye. Also the spear-head shaped hour markers on the dial give this watch a stunning yet sober look. The USP of this watch is, however, most certainly its ultra-thin casing. The Elite Calibre 681 movement developed by Zenith in-house fetches with is the hefty price tag. But it's probably worth the exquisite beauty and intricate detailing that defines any watch made by this Swiss luxury watch-maker.It can go well with a party dress or a formal suit.
