About the Tissot T-Classic Collection

Essence

Playing with the minds of hardcore Tissot fans, the Tissot T-Classic collection is more about preservation rather than innovation. Imbibing the idea of classic watchmaking, the collection is home to various unique timepieces such as the PRX, the Carson, and Chemin Des Tourelles.

Features

Inspired by Tissot’s home and heritage, the Tissot Le Locle series display exquisite elegance with details such as Roman numerals or various complications. The Le Locle features complications such as small seconds, chronographs, and open hearts coupled with date windows. For women, the Tissot T-My Lady series of watches features a more feminine touch to the classic approach of the collection. One of the most common timepieces under the collection is the PR 100, a set of classic timepieces with various complications under its belt. Whereas, the Tissot Tradition and Tissot Carson are more about the clean, suave set of timepieces that exude the aesthetic acumen of the brand. Further carrying the legacy and the simplicity of the collection is the Tissot Chemin des Tourelles, a set of timepieces that encapsulates an important part of Tissot’s history and is named after the street in Le Locle where the first manufacture of the brand still stands today. In a bid to add more complexity to the movement, a few of the timepieces inside the Tissot Gentleman series features the Powermatic 80 Silicium movement that features a silicon escapement offering better accuracy. Offering a complex look, the Tissot Couturier series glances with the wearer with robust chronographs and tachymeters. The Couturier is also available in a much simpler variant for both men and women. Inspired by the wheel of life, the Tissot T-Complication Squelette mechanical watch features a skeleton mechanical movement on the dial with a luxurious finish and intricate design details.

The PRX

One of the most popular and innovative timepieces from the brand, the Tissot PRX series is a perfectly crafted athleisure timepiece with an affordable price tag. Be it the quick-release bracelet or the comfortably integrated lugs, the PRX is a perfectly blended timepiece. For the mechanical aspect of the PRX, the timepieces feature Nivachron hairspring specially developed by Tissot that delivers reliability and precision though this feature is absent in the PRX equipped with quartz movement.

Good collection of watches. But the one I love the best is Tissot T-Trend Automatic Chronograph Watch which I bought from Ethos website. It's the most priced possession of mine.

I bought this watch last week at ETHOS,Infantry road - Bangalore. Hats off to Tissot for the design of this model... i really enjoyed shopping this watch at ETHOS & the model design was eye catching. Appreciate the sales executives at Ethos for their friendly suggestions & giving the details about this model which made me to buy this watch along with self satisfaction. When i got to know that this model can be used till next generation by just buffing the steel case/strap as still the new watch & its automatic with no battery etc., i felt its worth.

I recommend others to buy this watch... my best like for this watch is its design & built. Cheers!!!!!

It was my 34th birthday couple of weeks back and I was looking for ways to take my worries off the fact that I am headed for midlife. I have always been a watch enthusiast but this is the first time I could indulge into something nice thanks to some success at work recently. Tissot has been an aspirational brand for me and I have been window shopping their watches for long. This time I made a leap and actually entered the shop to make it happen. Oh but wait! There is a story to how I got to the shop also. This is where Ethos Watches comes into picture. Once I had made up my mind about how much I wish to splurge, it was time for my customary internet research. That's when I came across ethoswatches.com and boy was I surprised. This is the best watch site I have ever been to. I fact let me go out on a limb and say that this is the best "online shopping" site, available for business in India, that I have been to. The website is so clear yet comprehensive and has all the tools for you to find just the right watch. Thanks to the nice, accurate description and a clear, large picture of each and every watch, I could make a precise decision about my purchase. So much so that I even know what is the next watch I am buying next year. Anyways, my choice for this time was this beautiful watch from Tissot that you see above. I wanted a watch with and entry-level automatic movement with looks that were bold yet sophisticated and a brand that kind of represented my persona. This watch kind of hit the sweet spot. After having done full research on this watch I visited the store couple of times with my wife to try it on and brought it. This watch announces its presence on the wrist like a fine mix of art and function. The extra broad strap in a blend of brushed and chrome stainless steel gives this watch an extra visibility without being too loud. Its monochrome colour scheme of shimmering chrome on a black dial, counterbalances its bold form to make it just the right "visual-size". The watch has some weight to it and you'd feel a robust sensation wearing this one. I brought this one at Ethos, Ambience Mall outlet and the buying experience was an excellent one too. The staff was quite courteous and let me try and feel the watch patiently a couple of times before I actually brought it on my third visit. All-in-all, I believe I brought the right watch from the right seller. If you are somebody who is a newly-successful, looking to splurge your hard earned money to buy yourself something nice and kick-start your luxury watch collection journey, than this is the watch for you.
