Founded in 1860, by Edouard Heuer, the company was originally known as Urhenmanufaktur Heuer AG. It was later purchased by Techniques d’ Avant Grade in 1985, and came to be known as TAG Heuer. Their headquarters are currently based at Neuchatel, in Switzerland.
