Rado

History
Rado is one of the oldest Swiss watch making companies. Founded in 1917, it has come a long way since then. This company was originally intentioned as a watch parts producing company only, and continued to do so for the first 40 years of its existence. It was established by three brothers, Fritz, Ernst, and Werner Schlup, and they called it the Schlup & Co. However, it was rechristened in the year 1957 as Rado Uhren AG, after the launch of their first watch collection in the same year. Since then, the luxury watch house has launched a number of notable collections, instantly becoming a favourite brand of watch afficionados all over the world. Their watches are simplistic, yet very unique in design, and are famous the world over for their use of innovative materials in the art of watch making, such as hi-tech ceramic, lanthanum, sapphire crystal and more.

Design
The Rado R48793103-115.3793.2.010 is a gold and silver watch for men. The stainless steel case has a diameter of 35 mm.  It has a silver dial, with gold toned hands and gold circular indices marking the hours. The bezel has mirror effect.
The magnificent case rests on a two toned gold and silver bracelet; the highlight of the watch. It clasps through a deployable, titanium folding push button. It has a gold crown on the side, completing its look. The time piece is a one of its kind watch, and is extremely attractive.

Features
The Rado R48793103-115.3793.2.010 has Swiss quartz movement. It is treated with sapphire crystal, which makes it sturdy, and protects it from reflection and scratches. It is water resistant to a depth of 30 m. It performs the hour, minute, second, and date functions. The rectangular date window marks the hour at 6 o’ clock.
