Rado is a company with its head quarter Lengnau, Switzerland. The company was established in this same small town in the year 1917, and was earlier known as Schlup & Co. It was started by three brothers, Fritz, Ernst and Werner Schlup, and initially they had intended it to be a clockwork manufacturing company only. In 1957, after a span of 40 years, the company launched its first collection of watches, and thus, began the journey of the famous Swiss luxury watch house.
