Rado Diastar

History
Rado is a company with its head quarter Lengnau, Switzerland. The company was established in this same small town in the year 1917, and was earlier known as Schlup & Co. It was started by three brothers, Fritz, Ernst and Werner Schlup, and initially they had intended it to be a clockwork manufacturing company only. In 1957, after a span of 40 years, the company launched its first collection of watches, and thus, began the journey of the famous Swiss luxury watch house. It was then that the acquired the name of Rado, a name that became synonymous with innovation, luxury, and minimalism. The watch making company was also the pioneer of using scratch resistant sapphire crystal in the art of watch making, manufacturing the first scratch resistant watch on earth.

Design
The Rado R18755113-113.0755.3.011 is a silver square time piece for men. The stainless steel case has a diameter of 35 mm, and the square bezel has a scratch free mirror effect. It has a silver dial, with black indices marking the hours and minutes.
 The extremely sober dial rests on a stainless steel bracelet. This silver bracelet has deployable double folding clasps to provide maximum comfort to the wearer, and make the wearing and removal of the watch an easy affair. The stainless steel crown sits elegantly on the side of the case. This piece, belonging to the Diastar collection, is simple and elegant.

Features
The Rado R18755113-113.0755.3.011 has quartz movement. It is water resistant to a depth of 30 m. It is treated with sapphire crystal, which strengthens it, and provides immunity from reflection and scratches. It performs the date, hour, minute, and seconds function. The date window is positioned at 6 o’ clock.
