Product Description
History
The Coupole line of watches saw, for the first time, the use of dome-shaped lens by the brand. This collection was introduced by Rado in 1987, and came on the heel of the launch of its Integral range of watches in 1986. Besides the trademark sapphire crystal lens, the collection also boasts of many other defining characteristics including stylish dials, slender profiles and numerous case sizes.
Design
The R22533123-129.0533.3.012 model is a two-toned gold and steel number, with a profile that is both slim and sleek. Its dual toned case is a liberal 33mm size, with a fixed and solid bezel attached to it. The dial is in eye-pleasing silver shade, with hands and markers in contrasting gold tone. While its hour-markers are in indexes, the hands are designed as sticks. A small date window comes positioned at the 6 o’clock spot in order to provide it with greater functionality. Giving the watch its resilience factor and protecting it from scratches and accidental bumps is the dome-shaped sapphire crystal lens. For a smooth winding of hands, this Rado creation also comes equipped with a small push and pull crown. The strap, in the same two-tone combination as the case, is a durable construction that provides a comfortable fit and use.
Features
Without the need to wind it from time to time, and for a smooth and uninterrupted timekeeping function, the watch runs on quartz movement. Like a typical quartz watch, the stick hour and minute hands of this Rado number provide a sweeping and precise movement over the surface. It remains functional even after contact with mild spills or water splashes, because it has a water-resistance capacity of about 30m.
