Rado Ceramica

History
Rado was started as Schlup & Co. in Lengnau, a small Swiss town, in the year 1917, by the three brothers Werner, Ernst, and Fritz Schlup. Initially they used to produce just watch movements, but in 1957 the brand was renamed as Rado Uhren AG, and its first watch collection was unveiled. Since its launch, the brand was well known for making innovative watches, and in 1962 the Rado DiaStar was introduced, which was the first scratch-resistant watch in the world.

Design
From the Ceramica collection, the Rado Ceramica R21712702-963.0712.3.070 is elegantly designed in flawless white. Featuring a 23 mm white high tech ceramic case, the watch stays protected from scratches and other external damages. There is a rectangular shaped, white dial with Rado and jubilé signatures encased inside the case, and a white crown is situated at the side of the case. The dial showcases four jubilé diamond indexes situated at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions, to mark the hours, giving the timepiece a lavish appearance.
Stick shaped hour and minute hands in silver tone, are present at the centre of the dial, along with a needle shaped second hand for hour, minute, and second functions. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which makes it shatterproof, and resistant to scratches. A white high tech ceramic bracelet has been attached to the watch, giving it all-round protection from scratches.

Features
The watch is equipped with a Swiss quartz movement, which gives you consistent and precise time throughout. Your watch will not get damaged due to accidental splashes, as it is water resistant to a depth of 30 metres.
