About the Oris Artelier Collection
History
First launched in 2003, the Oris Artelier collection was aimed at bridging the gap between tradition and elegance. Known for creating sports-oriented timepieces, Oris has balanced the paradigm with utmost precision and refinement.
Features
Be it the round polished bezel or the long dauphine hands, the Oris Artelier collection is a perfect dress watch for every formal occasion. Even while being a sophisticated dress watch, the collection is home to various complications. Inside the Artelier Complication series, the addition of the moon phase at the 12 o’clock marker further enhances the grace of the timepiece. Apart from the moon phase, the series is also equipped with three sub-dials depicting day, second-time zone, and date at the 3,6, and 9 o’clock markers. The Artelier Complication series is equipped with the automatic Oris 781 calibre with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. A much simpler iteration, the Artelier Date series is equipped with a date window at the 6 o’clock marker that is further complemented by a guilloche pattern on the dial. The timekeeping duties in the series are handled by the Oris 733 automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The Artelier is home to a day/date variant called the Artelier Pointer Day Date. The date window inside this series is fixed at the 6 o’clock marker and the days are pointed by a small hand with a red arrow. Powering the Artelier Pointer Day Date is the automatic Oris 755 movement with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
The Artelier Calibre 113
The collection is also home to a manual movement called the Artelier Calibre 113. The Calibre 113 is equipped with a day window below the 12 o’clock marker, a power reserve indicator at the 3 o’clock marker, and a sub-dial at the 9 o’clock displaying seconds. The date window is placed on the periphery of the small seconds sub-dial while the month marker is displayed by an arrow hand. These features are governed by a manually wound movement, the Oris 113. Oris 113 offers a power reserve of approximately 240 hours while vibrating at 21,600 vph.
Limited Editions
Inside the suave Artelier collection are two charming limited edition timepieces, the James Morrison Academy of Music limited edition and the Art Blakey limited edition. The Artelier James Morrison Academy of Music limited edition is dedicated to the Australian music school named after Trumpeteer and a multi-instrumentalist James Morrison. Another timepiece pays a fitting homage to the legendary jazz drummer, Art Blakey. The Oris Artelier Art Blakey limited edition is just limited to 1000 pieces.
