About the Omega Seamaster Collection
The Omega Seamaster, celebrated for its innovation and precision, boasts a rich history intertwined with exceptional quality and finesse. Introduced in 1948 to commemorate Omega's centennial, the Seamaster was heavily influenced by the demands of wartime and built with an emphasis on functionality and durability. The core of this advancement was using a rubber O-ring gasket laying the foundation for the watch's future as a diving and exploration icon. In 1957, Omega introduced the Seamaster 300, a pivotal moment in the collection's history. This model, alongside the Speedmaster and Railmaster, formed the iconic "Master" trio. Today, the Seamaster collection continues to evolve, encompassing a variety of series that cater to different tastes and needs. Among them are the Aqua Terra, Diver 300, and Planet Ocean series.
Collection Breakdown
Honouring Omega's nautical lineage Aqua Terra is inspired by sailing with its distinctive striped dial and wedge-shaped hour markers. It combines style and functionality, making a great choice for a dress watch. Omega further exemplify their expertise in crafting durable and exquisite dive watches through the Diver 300M and the Planet Ocean collection.
The Planet Ocean, in particular, rapidly became a benchmark in the world of dive watches, with its robust construction and exceptional water resistance at 600 metres and holds the prestige of Master Chronometer certification. While extensively preferred for aquatic adventures, Diver 300M has gained cult status owing to its iconic association with James Bond. It's a collaboration that has been well capitalised by the brand offering patrons of both the brand and the franchise exclusive timepieces to relish. Central to this collection is the Seamaster Heritage, a carefully curated anthology that reinterprets Omega's most iconic timepieces for the modern era, maintaining the spirit of the originals while incorporating contemporary advancements in watchmaking.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
Introduced in 2011 along with 9301, calibre 9300 is one of Omega's earliest column wheel chronograph movements. It boasts the brand's signature co-axial escapement along with a silicon balance spring, securing high resistance to magnetism. This in-house self-winding calibre is vastly used in Omega's chronograph watches, powering hours, minutes, seconds, and date functions in many Speedmaster and Seamaster collections. Some De Ville chronograph watches are also equipped with 9300. It brings a cleaner bicompax configuration in lieu of a triple-register design and is also used as a base for several other Omega chronograph calibres. It provides a power reserve of 60 hours facilitated by two barrels and has a beat rate of 4Hz.
