Product Description
History
The Constellation Manhattan was a collection launched by Omega in 1982. This range was responsible for introducing the world to the aesthetically placed and highly functional Griffes or claws on the outer ring of the watches, to hold the sapphire crystals in place. The design was retained and even today timepieces launched under the Constellation Collection feature these aesthetically rich “claws”.
Design
Presented on a two tone bracelet consisting of alternating brushed steel links and polished rose gold center links, the 123.25.38.22.02.001 model has a timeless design, thus complementing a wide range of outfits flawlessly. The brushed stainless steel case has a diameter of 38 mm and encloses within itself a unique silver dial. This model is meant for men with a taste for classicism along with a touch of modernity. The day and date windows are positioned at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions for a clear display. An 18k stationary gold bezel has been engraved with diamond-set roman numerals, making the watch appear sporty as well as opulent. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal protects the timepiece from damage. The watch is water resistant to a depth of 100 metres and can even be worn during activities like swimming and snorkelling.
Features
Certified as a chronometer, this watch is equipped with the Omega 8602 caliber, a self-winding movement with Co-Axial Escapement. This makes the watch resistant to magnetic fields of 15000 gauss intensity without being adversely impacted. An instantaneous jump at midnight ensures that the watch’s precision and reliability is unrivalled in the market. Featuring a silicon balance-spring on a free sprung-balance and 2 barrels mounted in series, this movement’s winding time is also reduced because of its automatic winding in both directions. Watch enthusiasts can witness the magic of the movement through a transparent case back. The timepiece comes with a power reserve of 55 hours.

It design and features seem very very attractive and anyone who sees it will get attracted and try out and pick it up despite it is expensiveness. In my experience as a user of the Omega brand watch, although it is expensive but it works perfectly fine. I would be happy to have another sometimes as I wish to use them alternatively. It gives satisfaction of wearing them.
