History

Since then, the collection has not received major changes but still remains the best-selling collection inside Nomos. With numerous awards under its belt, the Nomos Glashutte collection holds the distinction of being the most popular timepiece under Nomos. Talking about the mechanical dexterity of the brand, the Nomos Glashutte Tangente collection is equipped with precise movements like the DUW 3001. The mainstay of this collection is the DUW 6101. The DUW 6101 is the first neomatik calibre with a date function. Whereas, the DUW 4401 was the first calibre to feature Nomos’s signature escapement, the Swing System. The Tangente collection is also equipped with manually winded movements, the Alpha, the DUW 4301 and the Alpha.2.
