History
Since 1832, Longines has been manufacturing revolutionary wristwatches and time-keeping instruments. Based in Saint-Imier, the company was founded by Auguste Agassiz, with the aim to revolutionise the watch-making industry. Design
A contemporary watch belonging to the Prima Luna line, the L8.110.5.87.6 offers a blend of style and grand appearance in its construction. Crafted in dual tone of steel and rose gold, it is fitted with a 26.5mm case, which houses a mother of pearl dial surrounded by a rose gold finish bezel. An ergonomic crown design provides the watch with comfortable use, and smooth winding of the hands. To lend the timekeeper with more utility, it sports a prominent date display aperture at the third hour. While it has hour-markers set in diamonds, it features prominent hands for its hour, minute, and seconds functions.
Imitating the dual tone case, the two-toned bracelet sports strong link design, with a hidden folding closure, for convenient day to day use. Lens made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial of this precious timekeeper.

Features
The watch is water-resistant to a depth of about 30m, and has been crafted to handle water spillage and splashes with ease. Its revolutionary quartz movement, controls the movement of the hands, and also powers its date function.
