History
Longines, a Swiss based watch making company was pioneered by Auguste Agassiz in the year 1832. With pocket watches as their core selling point, the company soon established a factory in Saint -Imeir in the year 1867. With experts at work the brand soon developed a mechanized form of production by 1876.

The 1900s was a year of innovation, with the introduction of wristwatch collections and the production of the Quartz clock. This in turn reflected the accuracy, performance and quality of the brand. The 21st century marked an era of growth for the brand. In 2012, Longines renovated its museum marking the celebration of its 180th anniversary. Now recognized through its hourglass logo, the brand’s presence can be felt across 140 countries across the globe.

Design
Designed with utmost accuracy, the La Grande Classique De collection (Model no: L4.800.4.58.6) by Longines, is a unique timepiece. Equipped with a shining and polished steel bracelet, the timepiece is a sight to behold. At the center lies a dazzling black dial fitted in with intricate diamonds as hour markers. The sparkling dial is placed within a circular steel case of diameter 35mm, creating a perfect package of style, performance and tradition. A sapphire crystal featuring scratch resistance forms the casewindow of the timepiece. A pull and push crown attached to the side of the case aids in easy winding of the timepiece.

Features
A Swiss engineered piece of art, this collection features a quartz movement, offering high level accuracy and precision. In addition to this, the watch ensures protection from external damage with a water resistance to a level of 30m. Thus, it can withstand a sudden downpour or an accidental spill with ease.
