History
Finding its genesis in 1832, Longines was established in Saint-Imeir with Auguste Agassiz as its founder. Starting off as a pocket watch making brand, Longines soon set up its very first factory in 1867. Slowly broadening its horizon into the international market, the company soon pioneered a mechanized form of production, in turn aiming at long term brand stability. With high innovation and smooth functioning, the company introduced its very first collection of wristwatches that ensured accuracy with high caliber.

Design
The La Grande Classique De collection (Model No: L4.766.1.11.2) by Longines is a timepiece featuring tradition in art. With a radiating black leather strap, the watch has been designed with a pure white dial surrounded with an elegant golden rim. Roman numerals and stick shaped hands in black, offer a stark contrast against the white of the dial. A sapphire crystal forms the case window of the timepiece, offering greater durability. Made to suit every occasion that comes along your way, this watch is placed within a gold plated circular case of diameter 37mm, making it a complete package of grandeur and performance. A push and pull crown makes winding the watch quite simple.
