History
Established in the year 1832, Longines found its origin in Saint-Imier, with Auguste Agassiz as its co-founder. Along with his two partners, he started his journey by selling pocket watches, but with aims of widening the brand’s horizons. In 1867, they pioneered their very first factory, in turn planning for long term brand stability. With gradual entrance into the international market and development of a mechanized form of production, by 1913, they released their very first series of wristwatch collection. Now present across 140 countries globally, Longines works towards reflecting performance, style and tradition along with ensuring elegance, accuracy and quality.
