History
Based at Saint-Imier, Switzerland, the luxury watch brand Longines is one of the best known Swiss based manufacturers. Founded by Agassiz in the year 1832, the company is now owned by the Swatch Group of company. The company’s winged hourglass logo stands as a mark of quality and genuineness. They have been long associated with sports, and are known to have provided timers for the first modern Olympics. The first automated timer was also manufactured by them. Their timers were the first ones to have travelled to the North Pole. The company is best known for their ‘Aviator’ watches. The company reached a milestone, when they became the current holders of the world record for producing the thinnest quartz watch ever, only 1.98-millimetres thick. Design
The Longines Evidenza L2.643.4.73.6, with its spectacular appearance and powerful features, is a fine example of expertise. The watch is housed in a stainless steel case of 34 millimetres. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal, with an anti reflective coat on the underside, protects the case window. The classic design of the dial sets this timepiece apart. With blue hour’s hands pointing to the Arabic numerals, and chronograph features at 3, 6 and 9 o’ clock, the watch is a classic daily wear. The watch has a stainless steel bracelet, polished in silver, to fasten it round your wrist.

Features
A date display window is present at 6 o’ clock, along with other chronograph features, adding to the functionality of the watch. Powered with automatic movement, the watch keeps time accurately. The watch is water resistant up to 30 metres under water, allowing small spills and accidental splashes.
