History
Celebrating their 175th Anniversary in the year 2007, the luxury watch brand Longines was founded in 1832.Based at Saint-Imier, Switzerland, they are widely known for their ‘Aviator’ watches. Founded by Auguste Agassiz, the company is now owned by the Swatch Group of companies. The company’s products, in diverse looks and designs, have always promoted originality and quality. Explorer Ameede Savio took timers manufactured by this company while he travelled to North Pole. Their products have always been known to be statement-making and up-to-date.

Design
The Longines Dolcevita L5.502.5.18.7 has been crafted to epitomise refinement and femininity. It is placed in a 27mm gold finish stainless steel rectangular case, which sets it apart from the rest. The dial has a white matt finishing and is engraved with pink indexes and a highlighted Arabic numeral at 12 o’ clock, giving it a premium appeal. Equipped with a seconds’ sub dial at 6 o’clock, the dial also has rose gold plated hands to show the time. Protecting the dial is a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, for boosting the durability of the watch. The watch possesses a rose gold and silver bezel that further highlights its elegance. A bracelet made of steel and rose gold holds the watch elegantly to the delicate wrist of a woman.
