Longines Dolcevita

History
Launched in the year 1832, Longines was founded by Auguste Agassiz, in the Swiss land of Saint-Imeir. Starting at a small level by selling pocket watches, the firm aimed at establishing a long term brand stability. With gradual entrance into the international market such as the United States, the company now looked towards broadening its horizon. In 1867, the Longines factory was set up, making it a more stable brand in the market. By the end of the era of the 1800s, it had developed a mechanized form of production, hence improving in terms of accuracy and precision.

With the start of the 1900s, Longines now had far sighted goals. In 1913, it launched its very first wristwatch series that offered style with elegance. By mid-century, it had crafted its very first Quartz clock, making the brand popular in the market for its innovation. With the fast growing 21st century, Longines focuses on creating a brand name that reflects elegance, style and tradition, making it the leading watchmaker in the world.  

Design
Created to be worn on the delicate wrist of every women, the Dolcevita Quartz Ladies Mid-size Model no: L5.502.4.71.6 by Longines, is a timeless piece of art. Equipped with a polished steel strap and a shining silver dial, this watch is an impeccable piece of indulgence. The dial is encased within a radiating steel case of dimension 22.4mm x 26.85mm. Black Roman numerals and silver sword shaped hands add to the elegance of the timepiece.

With focus on performance and quality, its case window is made of scratch resistant sapphire crystal. A sub-dial is located at the 6 o’clock position.

Features
With complete focus towards reliability and precision, this Swiss made watch features a quartz movement. To add to its amazing blend of features, it is water resistant to a level of 30m, thus it can withstand spills. A small seconds dial at 6’ o clock adds to its functionality.
