The Bovet Fleurier Amadeo Monsieur is a stunning example of the maison's artistic prowess and technical innovation. This versatile timepiece features a generous 43mm case crafted in 18ct rose gold, showcasing the brand’s patented Amadeo convertible case system, which allows it to transform from a wristwatch to a pocket watch or table clock without any tools. The dial is a masterpiece of decorative arts, featuring an intricate guilloché pattern in a striking turquoise blue that creates a mesmerising wave effect radiating from the centre. The applied Arabic numerals and hands in rose gold provide excellent contrast and legibility while maintaining the watch's elegant aesthetics. At its heart beats a hand-wound mechanical movement, meticulously finished to the highest standards of haute horlogerie with traditional techniques including anglage and Côtes de Genève. The movement offers a power reserve of 168 hours, demonstrating technical expertise. The timepiece is fitted with a black alligator leather strap featuring distinctive blue contrast stitching that complements the dial colour. The signature blue cabochons adorning the crown and bow add refined details to this sophisticated creation. Water-resistant to 30 metres, this Amadeo Monsieur represents Bovet’s commitment to combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative functionality.

About the Bovet Fleurier Collection

The Fleurier collection by Bovet explores themes of decorative arts and craftsmanship virtuosity, concepts closely linked to the history of the maison. More than 200 years ago, Bovet carved their way into the world of horology with pocket watches featuring intricate detailing and hand engravings. Now, CEO Pascal Raffy and the House of Bovet bring this watchmaking alchemy to the Fleurier collection, which houses beautiful, one-of-a-kind timepieces with round cases, leather straps, and intricately-designed dials.

The Distinctive Bovet Amadeo Case

Watches in the Bovet Fleurier collection are armed with the brand's patented Amadeo case, named after Pascal Raffy's son. Its singular construction is a lesson in ingenuity, resembling a wearable pocket watch. The Amadeo case is convertible and can be easily transformed without any tools into a table clock, pendant, or pocket watch. In addition, it is also reversible with two dials, one on each side. The bells and whistles that elevate this distinctive case and have become a signature of the collection are the single bow-shaped lug at 12 o'clock and the attached winding crown.

The Eclectic Watches Of Bovet Fleurier

The Bovet Fleurier collection asserts aesthetic dominance with its refined roll call of watches—19Thirty, Miss Audrey, Monsieur Bovet, Orbis Mundi, and the Virtuoso series. Miss Audrey and Monsieur Bovet are the maison's haute horlogerie interpretations of a women's and men's watch. While Miss Audrey is named after Mr Raffy's daughter, Monsieur Bovet nods to the four Bovet brothers and their tasteful style. 19Thirty, perhaps, is the choicest of all Fleurier watches. Introduced in 2015, it takes aesthetical inspiration from Bovet watches of the 1930s and carries a pleasing vintage sensibility with exposed and well-decorated dials. Orbis Mundi is Bovet's invitation to travel. It is an exceptionally designed world timer nominated for the watchmaking's Oscars—the GPHG—more than once. Virtuoso watches lean more towards mechanical complexity, featuring a slew of interesting complications as well as Bovet's first skeleton watch.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT

The Monsieur Bovet watches are equipped with the hand-wound calibre 13BM09AI, which has been completely developed and produced in-house, including the hairspring. This movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and maintains consistent power for up to seven days with just one barrel. This movement brings Bovet's master watchmaking on display by placing timekeeping components such as the hours, minutes, and coaxial seconds on both sides of the watch. This is achieved by utilising two second wheels that rotate in opposite directions on the same axis. Calibre 13BM09AI is exquisitely finished with traditional Geneva stripes, beveling, and blued screws.
