History
Launched in 2011, the Rado True Thinline collection was the brand’s thinnest watch ever produced. Even today, True Thinline remains the thinnest watch offered by the brand but does not compromise on the quality and ingenuity the brand is known for.
Features
The first watch to be incorporated with Rado’s ingenious monobloc case, the True Thinline grapples the hook on the innovation part. From the aesthetical point of view, the True Thinline carves out a beautiful round dial that is polished to perfection. The minimalistic design offers a simple yet exuberant look into the process of making this timepiece. The dial offers different perspectives and a brilliant insight into the brand’s manufacturing process. In some of the timepieces, there is a date window for further duties of timekeeping. Whereas, adding a pinch of elegance, the True Thinline Diamonds are fixed diamond-studded index markers on the dial.
Collaborations
In a bid to celebrate the summer season, Rado decided to bring out the special edition pieces of the True Thinline collection. Called the True Thinline x Great Gardens of the World, these timepieces are offered in various hues. Whereas, The True Thinline Anima is an interpretation of modern timekeeping and is just limited to 2,020 units. Made in collaboration with trend researcher, Li Edelkoort, the True Thinline Stillness offers a pure white dial offering an insight into the importance of stillness and clarity. Another timepiece made in collaboration with the Russian artist and designer, Evgenia Miro, the True Thinline My Bird displays Evgenia’s unique philosophy of time. Apart from time, the furniture and textile design inspired True Thinline Studs was made in collaboration with British designer Bethan Gray.
