The first yacht timer from Seiko, the Seiko Velatura collection was first launched in 2007 as a robust yacht timer. During the years of evolution and precision, the Seiko Velatura developed as a more robust chronograph and has perfected the art of Japanese watchmaking with ingenuity and precision. Today, the Seiko Velatura is no more a yacht timer but a perfect dress watch coupled with sportiness and robustness.
The chunky case and a masculine silhouette offer a more sporty aesthetic for the Seiko Velatura Perpetual Watch. Apart from masculinity, the watch offers leap year, day, date, and month markers on the dial with finesse. All this is achieved by the famed Seiko Kinetic movement that combines the advantages of both mechanical and quartz watches. For women, the Velatura also features a timepiece that is studded with precious stones on the bezel and a rather unique set of hands for timekeeping.
Nice and beautiful watch suitable for auspicious occasions. But for that price a chronograph watch would have been better. That is the only negative about the watch. Rest all perfect.
