Backdrop
With the success of the Type 1° collection, the brand decided to revamp the idea of these timepieces. The plan was to reel in the concept of square watches. These square timepieces are now placed under the Ressence Type 1² collection.
Features
Known for its unique approach towards timekeeping and design elements, Ressence designed the Type Squared watch from the inside out. One of the most unique features of the watch is its unique display. Instead of traditional hands, the timepieces use an array of rotating discs and dials. This unique display is further enhanced by its sleek and minimalist design with a focus on clean and simple lines. The addition of a titanium case provides the timepieces with much-needed ruggedness.
Movement
Built in-house, the self-winding movement is based on the reliable ETA 2892 with the patented ROCS 1.3 module. The ROCS module helps display time in a unique manner. Moreover, the movement is winded by a caseback winding system instead of a conventional crown.
