Essence
The MeisterSinger Pangaea collection is a set of timepieces that embodies simplicity and elegance. Its design and principle revolve around the concept of displaying time in a single-hand format, which is a signature characteristic of MeisterSinger watches. The principle behind MeisterSinger Pangaea's design is rooted in the ancient sundial, where time was marked by the position of the sun's shadow. By embracing this historical approach, the watch encourages a slower and more contemplative perception of time, contrasting with the fast-paced nature of modern life.
Features
Named after the singular piece of land before the continents, the Pangaea reiterates itself as the bringer of minimalistic yet full-of-life notions. The Pangaea is equipped with a date window over the 6 o’clock marker but this is absent in the Pangaea 365 which features a rather classic dial with a single central hand that looks more like a spear from the Middle Ages. The 365 also features a rather classic logo with an ivory dial. The Pangaea 365 is fitted with the Sellita SW200 movement that offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
