The evident design of the case with the protected crown and an outcropped handle on the opposite is often compared with the shape of a turtle. A part of the Sea series, the Luminox Leatherback SEA Turtle collection is fitted with an iconic “turtle-shape” case.
Features
One of the few instances where Luminox has created a timepiece for women, the Leatherback SEA Turtle features a brilliantly white form of this timepiece. Though feminine in the palette, it retains the rugged nature of a Luminox. This watch's luminous dial is one of its most eye-catching features. The dial is extremely readable during the day, and the technology used also ensures that you can easily make out the time when it's dark. You have choices of a few different colours for the dial. The green with the red highlights from 12 to 3 o'clock plus the red seconds hand makes for a striking combination. Nevertheless, the readability of the dial could be slightly better in neutral conditions. The black carbon compound case back offers much more reliability as well as promises longevity. Apart from that, the carbon compound unidirectional turning bezel works perfectly as a timer. It even allows you to fix the time without having the knob fall off or break anytime soon.
