ORANGE MONSTER making Swiss watchmakers run for their money.Actually!! Sometimes everything falls in right place for some watches, thus we have this watch,Orange monster SRP309.Call it gawdy but this one grows on you to stay.

Has the Seiko 4R36 movement, which is Windable Automatic.200 M water resistant, Gorgeous vibrant orange dial with SHARK TOOTH markers, Bezel with grooves.Typical offset Seiko key and Hardlex crystal glass. As far as accuracy of movement concerned, When checked with a Swiss watch you hardly lose a minute per month, that's really impressive for a watch with this price.
This watch has a legacy and a stature on horological scene,Bigtime timepiece collectors ,Rolex,Omega and Patek owners have an 'Orange Monster' in collection.Something to pass on to generations.A magnificent collectible indeed.

The Orange Monster- This is my third purchase from Ethos. Excellent service once again. Timely delivered-well packed with Seiko International Warranty. The colour Orange, the main attraction of this watch, relates to adventure, enthusiasm, celebration, freshness, happiness and scientifically one of the visible colours underwater. Furthermore I liked the side profile and the monstrous bright lume(Blue-Green) which lasts for the whole night. Interestingly by design or default, it forms a Rocket shaped figure once all the markers(hour, min and sec) intersect at one point in daylight as well as in the darkness. Its looks really awesome and unique. I took this watch to a nearby watch store to adjust its bracelet and the watch soon attracted the attention of staff and customers one by one. All of them were appreciating the Orange face and unique design with echoes of 'Seiko.. Seiko..!' Needless to mention I was in the Seventh Heaven defying all the gravity while answering their curious queries about from where I bought it, price etc. I also tired a shallow diving wearing the Orange Monster and confirmed its worldwide reputation as a reliable automatic dive watch with good visibility underwater. Seiko Rocks...!

There aren't many brands in the watch world that can touch a Seiko in terms of sheer bang for your buck. Admittedly, I do own the previous generation model of the SRP309K1 but the differences are minimal so I think I am fairly qualified to review this piece here. Known as the Orange Monster to people in the know, its reputation as a robust, genuine dive watch is legendary. The Monster name probably comes from its fairly large size and chunky feel. It is a heavy watch and can get uncomfortable if worn for too long but that's a small price to pay for how stunning it looks on the wrist. The large hands and markers make the watch extremely legible and generous use of luminous paint make them glow like a torch for hours on stretch. Little details like the crown being at the 4 o' clock position instead of the regular 3 are welcome since this prevents the crown from digging into your wrist, a boon when the crown is this large. Without getting too technical about the movement in the newer model, let me just say it is more accurate and can be set more accurately thanks to it being a hacking movement, which basically means you can stop the seconds hand for more accurate time setting.
In conclusion, there isn't really much to say about a watch which is already well respected in watch circles. A fine buy and worth its asking price.
