Raymond Weil elevated the watch market to a new standard in 1976. He put his childhood love and understanding of watches into constructive practice, inculcating the same values in his family genes. The man effortlessly reached the top, letting his ineffable work speak. His second love was music, which finds portrayal in his impeccable designs. Raymond Weil not only dedicates his work to music, but also sponsors and supports musical efforts worldwide, indulging in music related charities, award shows, and artists. Raymond Weil is now an internationally recognised brand for luxury watches, known for the fine taste and impassionate timepieces. Raymond’s excessively thoughtful advertisement campaigns have also spread the motto of reliability and attachment to audiences globally.
The Parsifal 9740-STG-00995 is an elegant yellow gold and silver time piece for women. It has a stainless steel, rectangular, gold PVD plated case, with a diameter of 20 mm, and thickness of 5 mm. It is graced with a mother of pearl dial, which have bold Roman gold numeral marking the hours at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’ clock positions respectively. The rest are marked by eight white diamonds.
This exquisite yellow gold and silver case rests on a double toned, stainless steel bracelet, 7 inches in length, and 13 mm in width. It clasps through a double push security system. It has a yellow gold and royal blue domed crown. This piece is stunningly beautiful.
The Parsifal 9740-STG-00995 has Swiss Quartz movement. It is water resistant to a depth of 30 m. It performs the hour and minute functions. It is treated with sapphire crystal on the front. The crystal makes it sturdy, and provides immunity from scratches and reduces glare.
Raymond Weil created the Parsifal collection as a tribute to the great opera composer and director, Richard Wagner, in 1991. The challenge embraced by the collection was to adequately depict the struggles and qualities of a man well ahead of his times, and the brand succeeds in doing so owing to its revolutionary technology and masterful aesthetics. With an elegance that is ideal for men and women, this collection pleases the most avid of watch enthusiasts. Although this line was discontinued for a while, it started afresh in 2010 and continues till today.
The artistic appeal of the Parsifal line lies in the subtle interplay of textures attempted by it. The dial appears in shades of white, brown, and black, with subdials of a tone very similar to that of the dial, as opposed to contrasting, as is generally the case. The time intervals are marked with applied Roman numerals fro a stately appeal. The polished stainless steel fixed bezel sits upon a crown case that extends into the straps. The crown itself is topped with a domed gem.
The watches from the Parsifal collection operate on mechanical auto-winding movements for immaculate timekeeping functions, with a power reserve of 42 hours. Subdials on these watches offer small seconds, minutes and hours counters with indicators. The screw down crowns of these watches allow water resistivity of up to 100m. The bezel additionally boasts a tachymeter. Raymond Weil celebrates the Wagner opera fittingly by crafting masterpieces of their own.
