Perfection personified, this exquisite time teller has a silver skeleton dial with Côtes de Genève decorations which is housed in a polished stainless steel case. There is a 12 hour display counter at 12 o’ clock and a small seconds display counter at 6 o’ clock. The open window reveals the intricate movement of the dial and the outer rim of the dial has been etched with minute markers. The stainless steel fixed bezel is smooth and the strap has been crafted with a black croco imitation leather. The time piece has been equipped with a mechanical hand- winding movement.
Louis Erard dreamt of building a brand, which stood for exceptional quality and affordable price. In 1931 this dream came true and he launched the first watch under the brand name Louis Erard. As homage to the year the brand was born the company brought out the 1931 collection of watches. In 2006 for their 75th anniversary, the brand revived its 1931 collection and adapted it to include four new models in which gold substituted steel as the dominant material.
The watches in this line, characterised with bold lines and proportions, come with steel or 18K gold fabricated circular or rectangular cases. Mother of pearl is used in the ladies collection to add an exquisite touch. The bracelets of this line of watches are made of leather with croco imitation augmenting the collections extraordinary good looks. The 1931 family of watches, the face of this brand, has always stood out for originality and sheer style.
The functions of the watches in this collection range from showing small second, day, date, month, to indicating power reserve and moon phase thus providing patrons with a dynamic range of features. The watches are powered by a mechanical Swiss movement that guarantee reliability and precision.
Louis Erard debuted in the 2013 Couture show and created ripples for its original design and affordable cost. Among the watches on display was a 1931 series chronograph with an exquisite grey dial and moon phase complications. It managed to impress retailers and customers alike with its standout style.
