The Brand

Longines, the famous luxury watch brand, came into existence in the year 1832. Aguste Agassiz, who was working with a watch parts trading firm established his own firm in the Swiss village, Saint Imier in the mentioned year and his collection of watches soon earned appreciation in the local market. However, he had bigger aspirations and worked hard to market his products in distant markets. The superior technology and stylish designs of his watches impressed the buyers and eventually brought him worldwide fame. The brand is now a part of the Swatch Group.

The elegantly designed Longines L8.110.5.88.6 has a 26.5 mm rose gold and stainless steel case. It has a beautiful white mother of pearl dial with rose gold Arabic numeral hour markers that complement the dial perfectly. The hour and minute hands of the watch are also 18k rose gold. Its beautiful dial is outlined with a rose gold fixed bezel studded with diamonds. The watch has a stainless steel and gold bracelet that completes its look.

Features
This beautifully designed watch has battery operated quartz movement. It comes with the useful date feature. The date window of the watch is housed at the 3 o’ clock position and offers an easy glance even in bright sunlight. This is because the sapphire crystal glass used to cover its dial has anti-reflective coating. The glass material is scratch resistant too so you do not have to be extra careful while wearing it. It is also water resistant to a depth of 30 metres.
