May We Recommend

Embracing the joy of outdoor adventures, Norqain based their whole identity on their logo’s mountain peak motif. The Swiss watch brand are known for their rugged and durable watches designed specifically for daring escapades. This is evident in the forms and functions of their iterations that promise robust construction, significant water resistance, adventure-inspired aesthetics, and practical features such as chronographs and compass functions. Their Freedom 60 collection is a line-up of sturdy sports watches, hosting some of the most accessible high-frequency chronographs and GMT references. Joining the collection this year is the newest Freedom 60 GMT, which takes forward the vintage-inspired design of these sporty timepieces. Evoking the aesthetics of the 60s, the Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze Anthracite is a limited edition of 300 pieces. While the golden-black look of the watch gives it a classic appeal, its chronometer automatic movement proves its modern-day engineering, featuring a second time zone with a jumping hour feature to easily set the local time and change the date forwards and backwards.

Conquer The Great Outdoors: The Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40MM Bronze Anthracite

The Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze Anthracite features a polished and satin-finished bronze case on the top and a stainless steel caseback with a bronze PVD coating. The limited-edition watch features an engraved and satin-finished bronze plate on the left side of the case, etched with ‘Norqain’. Just like with other Norqain watches, the wearer can customise the engraving on the plate.

Water-resistant up to 100m, the bronze case is equipped with a screw-down crown with the Norqain logo and packs an open case back featuring the engraving ‘Limited Edition One of 300’, coupled with a scratch-resistant sapphire glass. A double anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, and box-type sapphire glass on top protects the domed dial, which is executed in anthracite with a sunray finish.

For the Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze Anthracite, Norqain offer a choice between a black perlon rubber strap or an ebony alcantara strap

The dial side of the Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze Anthracite offers great attention to detail. The gold Norqain logo on the anthracite dial gives a lively contrast to the watch face, whereas the sandblasted flat GMT hand in bronze colour with a red tip makes it even more suave. While the second time zone with a 24-hour indication in midnight black and white ring adds more depth to the vintage shades of the watch, the sandblasted flat indexes, central second hand, and faceted hour and minute hands in bronze unify its vintage-inspired colour palette. A date window also appears at three o’clock.

Complementing the watch, Norqain offer a choice between a black perlon rubber strap or an ebony alcantara strap.

This automatic movement enables the second time zone function with a jumping hour. Featuring a patented clutch system, the Calibre NN20/2 allows the date to be changed at any time without compromising the timekeeping mechanics.
