TAG Heuer has since its inception, been a trendsetter in terms of technology and watchmaking. This year at Baselworld, TAG launched some mind blowing watches, promoting the concept of accessible Haute Horlogerie. From the legendary Carrera to the revolutionary Monza, TAG Heuer unveiled six new models that captivated a lot of hearts.
TAG Heuer Monza Chronograph
TAG celebrated 40 years of history with the recreation of their iconic watch – The Monza. Ever since Jack Heuer designed this chronograph in 1976 there have been a few reissues but none of them have been this impressive. 2016 marks the return of the two essential features of the watch – the pulsometer and the tachymeter scale with the original 1976 font on the dial.
The 42mm case is made from grade 5 titanium and the orange SuperLuminova gives an adrenaline pumping effect. The chronograph is equipped with a “super racing” strap in full-grain black calfskin with top-stitching, which evokes the design of the steering wheel of the 1970’s racing cars. A highly sought out timepiece, the Monza celebrates 40 years in 2016 and this particular limited edition reissue will definitely mark a milestone in the history of TAG Heuer.

TAG Heuer Aquaracer 300M Ceramic Automatic Calibre 5
The 2016 Aquaracer is here and it’s definitely bigger and better. With an increased power and size, the watch now comes in a 43mm case and with a Calibre 5 automatic mechanical movement. The ceramic uni-directional rotating bezel in blue and the updated logo bring about a refreshing look to the most sought after collection from TAG. Launched in 2003, the collection has come a long way from being a resolutely diving and a sporty watch to the perfect timepiece for extreme conditions.

TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01
If we were to point out THE signature chronograph watch from TAG Heuer, the HEUER-01 would be it. The metal bracelet version is especially striking as it alternates the satin and brushed finishes, that aptly complement the watch’s large and stylish case. The two push buttons present a dual safety mechanism.
The HEUER-01 calibre has attained a very high level of quality, making it a rare chronograph produced entirely in-house.
