Norqain are a family-owned Swiss enterprise that are known to produce modern mechanical sport watches. Ahead of Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, they have expanded their Wild ONE Skeleton series, with the introduction of a new timepiece in a reduced case size of 39mm. Presenting the Wild ONE Skeleton 39mm in four distinct colours—Hyper Pink, Sky Blue, Purple Ice Blue, and the Limited Edition Mint (400 pieces only). Introduced in collaboration with Jean-Claude Biver in 2022, the Wild ONE watches from the Independence collection—with closed or skeletonised dials—are constructed using a unique carbon fibre material, called Norteq. Six times lighter than steel and three-and-a-half times lighter than titanium, with high shock resistance, it is the brand’s proprietary carbon material, making their watches extremely comfortable on the wrist. According to the brand, it is a high-performance polymer matrix containing 60 percent bio-sourced material (castor oil).

“Our customers love the Wild ONE’s unique innovations and its consistently high levels of performance. Many of our customers have asked for a smaller version—so we’re thrilled to introduce the 39mm Wild ONE Skeleton ahead of Watches and Wonders Geneva, where we’ll be exhibiting for the second year in a row as proud members of the Swiss watch industry,” said Norqain’s founder and CEO Ben Küffer in an official release.

The new 39mm Wild ONE Skeletons feature the same innovative material as their predecessors, making them ultra-light, robust, and shock-resistant. All four models weigh just 64gms. Thanks to the protective Norteq cage, with a rubber shock absorber surrounding the titanium movement within, the watches also deliver a shock resistance of up to 5000g. Another special characteristic of Norteq is its ability to be colourised. While the Hyper Pink, Sky Blue, or Mint editions feature a black Norteq cage with matching elements, the brand have employed a new purple-coloured cage with ice blue accents in their fourth edition.
