We present the 2018 Chronofighter Vintage Nose Art watches, yet another bold offering from the Swiss watchmakers
May We Recommend
Graham, a watchmaking brand known for their bold watches, with the unique trigger, has again struck the watch world with the sheer creative aesthetics presented in the Chronofighter series. Far from being shy or conservative, Graham’s traits are truly reflected in the Nose Art edition of their Chronofighter Vintage watches. Each watch features a pin-up model with bright red lips, deep cleavage and cheerful poses; though all are presented in good taste. The newest pin-up girls to grace the Nose Art fleet—Belle, Lucia, Linda and Chloé—are more dynamic than their predecessors and stir up a storm with their alluring looks, idiosyncratic dance poses, fluttering skirts and quirky musical props.
Poses On The Noses
Mirroring the nose art painted on the noses of military planes during World War II, this collection features glamorous ladies on sun-brushed grey, blue or black vintage dials in 44mm steel cases, water resistant to 100m.
The large case features the quintessential, fast-action start-stop trigger of the Chronofighter collection, while the captivating dial comes with the limited edition serial number at nine o’clock, below the day and date windows. There is also a small seconds counter at three o’clock. Graham ensures the legibility of the watch remains paramount and hence the aesthetically antique timekeeping hands, the numerals, and indexes are filled with white SuperLuminova, while the central chronograph hand is distinctive, courtesy a red tip.
Beyond Just The Pretty Faces
The collection, limited to 100 pieces per watch, is not just about good looks and is powered by a superior G1747 automatic chronograph calibre, except for the ‘Linda’ model, which is sans the small seconds counter and runs on a G1745 calibre.
The solid movement allows a power reserve of 48 hours. Also reflective of their aviation origins are the hand-sewn calf leather straps in variations of brown, blue or black. The Chronofighter Nose Art collection is sure to lift the spirits of any watch enthusiast with its charm, versatility and whimsy nature. Even with all the art and creativity, these Chronofighter pieces stay true to the Graham DNA of being big, bold and absolutely unique.
