This collection of seven timepieces—each in a limited edition of 288 pieces including three models with a natural titanium case and four in matte black PVD—makes a bold fashion-forward statement with the stark contrast of colours and chic industrial design.

For true lovers of horology, the collection delivers on horological standards with the Admiral’s iconic 12-sided bezel and nautical pennants. In a modern twist, they frame an eye-catching skeleton dial, available in popping shades of yellow, red or turquoise blue, and matched with either a black PVD-coated titanium case or even a natural titanium case.

As with all skeletonised dials, these timepieces also offer a glimpse into the precision timekeeping workings, which are a treat to the human eye. Showcased in full view, the automatic in-house movement designed by Corum and made by EMC—its own production entity—is the prestigious calibre CO 082, which offers a 42-hour power reserve.

Up, Close And Personal

In sync with its nautical-inspired aesthetic, the skeleton dial features open-worked bridges, coated with an anthracite grey surface that provides two contrasts. The first is with the movement’s nickel silver gear trains and the second is with the dominant colours of the Admiral 45 Squelette’s different models distributed on the seconds hand, the case, the bracelet and the date. To make things more exciting and to keep up with the fashion choices of watch lovers, Corum now allows you to customise your watch with combinations of these fun colours and the possibility of adding coloured bracelets to add an edge to your watch wardrobe.

Yet another feature that stands out on the bare dial is the large date numerals, which are neither painted nor engraved on the sapphire discs. Instead, they are individually blanked via precise electronic machining. Emboldened with a slew of eye-popping colours, the thin and sleek numerals add to the aerial architecture of the Admiral 45. The aperture with a solid-coloured background at six o’clock further offers contrast for the date display, while the overall technical design marvel renders an unobstructed view of the in-house calibre visible on the lower bridge. With dauphine hour and minute hands, which make their way around the 12 pennants, a 45mm case and a sporty vulcanised rubber bracelet, the watch is the only sporty chic addition you need to further your nautical aspirations.
