Among the most anticipated watch collection for ladies, the launch of the Petite Promesse by the Geneva-based watchmaker – Baume & Mercier, did not disappoint.

Marking time like no other watch, the Petite Promesse from Baume & Mercier embodies a mischievous elegance. One look at the Promesse and you cannot resist the harmony of its proportions and the playful combination of style and elegance. Measuring in at just 22mm with a thickness of 7.68mm, the Baume & Mercier Petite Promesse perfectly resonates with the brand and the values it shares (Baume & Mercier has been known for their “petite” ladies watches since the 1920s).

The Petite Promesse is created for women who prefer watches with a little sparkle with a lot of panache. Adding to its massive style appeal is the white mother-of-pearl dial that houses brilliant-cut, Top-Wesselton (VS, 0.01 ct) diamond-set indexes at 6 and 12 0′ clock. The polished stainless steel elliptical case has diamonds in graduating sizes that either partially or completely surround the dial. To ensure the watch retains its sleek shape, the crown is removed from the side of the case. Hence, time-setting is done through the caseback which houses a time setter, fixed with 4 screws.

The  stainless steel bracelet version is called the  jewellery model which features a steel wrap-around bracelet attached to an ellipse-shaped case that houses 22 brilliant-cut, Top-Wesselton (VS, 0.16 ct) diamonds. The second model features a bright blue leather wrap-around strap whose dial is also partially surrounded by 22 brilliant-cut, Top-Wesselton (VS, 0.16 ct) diamonds. The final model is equipped with a spicy orange leather wrap-around strap that is set with 44 brilliant-cut Top-Wesselton (VS, 0.31 ct) diamonds that completely frame the dial.
