The name Tag Heuer combines the abbreviated words of Techniques d'Avant Garde, the firm that bought the brand and that of the founding name of Heuer. It was later bought in 1999 by LVMH, the firm that owns the brand even today.
Tag Heuer’s CAS2110.FC6266 is a beautiful watch featuring a case made of stainless steel. The black dial of the watch has a smooth finish, and features the sword shaped hour and minutes hands in a silver tone. Silver Arabic numerals form the hour markers on this timepieces. Only the sixth index and the twelfth index are displayed by the help of small silver squares. Minutes of the hour are displayed on the circumference of the dial with the help of silver markings. The Tag Heuer shield and the word Carrera are printed on the dial to the left of the 3 o’clock position. Three sub-dials are present on the dial, the chronograph hour dial, the chronograph minute dial and the chronograph second dial. One sub-dial is present at the 9 o’clock position, the other at the 6 o’clock position and the third at the 12 o’clock position. The dial is protected by an anti-reflective and scratch resistant sapphire crystal. A fixed bezel mounted on the case is also made of stainless steel, offering a fine silver finish. The black strap of the watch is made using alligator leather.
The gorgeous Carrera has a date function just above the sixth hour index. This timepiece has been made waterproof to a depth of 100 metres or 330 feet. Thus it means that you can go snorkeling or swimming while wearing it without the fear of damaging the watch mechanism. This watch has been designed especially for men and uses a quartz movement, in the process offering perfect time.
TAG Heuer’s Carrera Collection was first launched in 1963 and had a very simplistic design containing just the registers and applied markers on the dial. This collection soon went on to become one of TAG Heuer’s first ever ranges of automatic chronographs and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013 having brought out new models every decade since it was introduced to the world.
The Carrera is one of Tag Heuer’s shining trademark ranges of Chronographs. The sleek and sporty finish checks off large and easy to read hour markers while greatly accentuating the luminous hands. The design also comes with a TAG Heuer logo at the crown with a Carrera marking on the dial. The Carrera’s stainless steel strap adds to the powerful look that embodies this series. Fabric, titanium and leather are also available as strap options. The anti-scratch curved sapphire crystal and double anti-reflective treatment allows for the wearer to use the watch with more freedom without fear of scratches or lack of visibility.
This collection provides water-resistance up to 100 metres. Chronograph counters feature stopwatch and countdown functionality. A date window at 6'o clock or 3'o clock gives you a holistic view of time. Powered by an advanced automatic movement, this collection is the epitome of reliability and precision.
