TAG Heuer Carrera 1887

History 
Impassioned by his love for motorsports, Jack Heuer launched the iconic Carrera line in 1963 eponymously named after the famous Carrera Panamerica Mexico car race.
The aesthetics of this collection, do full justice to TAG Heuer’s proud association with the world’s most famous car racing event – the Monaco Grand Prix.
Design  
The TAG Heuer CAR2A83.FT6033 is a limited edition men’s watch. The case of the watch has a diameter of 43mm and is made of sandblasted black titanium with black titanium carbide coating. 
The CAR2A83.FT6033 has a black dial with two grey horizontal stripes and a red line. Moreover, the grey hour and minute hands come with a shorter and a longer white stripe on each hand respectively. The device has luminescent markers for easy reading of time in the dark or underwater.  
The TAG Heuer CAR2A83.FT6033 watch also has curved sapphire crystal that is scratch-resistant and double anti-reflective. It is water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters. The model has “Monaco Grand Prix” written in vibrant red on the ceramic bezel. Its case back is inscribed with the limited edition number. This Carrera men’s watch also has a black rubber strap that has the design of racing car tyres. 
Movement
The movement of the CAR2A83.FT6033 is Calibre 1887. It is an automatic watch that does not require manual winding. The model has a power reserve of around 50 hours and a balance frequency of 28.800 vibrations per hour or 4 Hz. 
Associations
The notable Argentinian car racer Juan Manuel Fangio as well as Hollywood stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Matthew McConaughey in “The Lincoln Lawyer” have been seen wearing the Tag Heuer Carrera.
