The brand name Tag Heuer is actually a combination of the abbreviated letters of Techniques d'Avant Garde and the name Heuer after its founder Edouard Heuer.
The TAG Heuer Women's WAA1413.BA0761 Alter Ego is a watch that is made especially for women. It has a case that is made of stainless steel. Its lovely bracelet is also made of steel and features the three easy link design. The bracelet has a deployment clasp with a push button to keep the watch secure when worn. A blue dial constitutes the most attractive feature of the watch. It has hour markers that are displayed using small squares made of stainless steel. The even hour indexes are the only ones that are marked. There are no markings on the dial for the odd hour numbers. This watch features the hour's hand and the minute's hand, both similar in design and are displayed in a silver tone. The Tag Heuer shield is displayed below the twelfth hour index and just below the logo the brand name is displayed. An anti-scratch sapphire crystal has been place over the dial in order to protect the timepiece. The crystal has an anti-reflective treatment to ensure that you can read time easily even in bright sunlight. It has a bezel that is immovable and made of stainless steel. A characteristic feature of this bezel is that it is seamlessly joined to the case of the watch. This gives the watch surface a smooth appearance.
The TAG Heuer Women's WAA1413.BA0761 Alter Ego has many features. It uses a Swiss quartz movement offering great precision. Moreover, the timepiece is water resistant to a depth of 100 metres or 330 feet. This means that the watch can be worn even while indulging in activities like swimming and snorkeling, without the fear of damaging its mechanism.
Not to be associated as mainly a man’s watch brand, TAG Heuer launched the Alter Ego Collection in 1999 directed solely at their female clientele. The series contains contemporary timepieces for women looking for an elegant yet modern time piece with a certain exceptional look. The Alter ego embodies the best balance between hobby and luxury allowing the watch to be worn for both sporty and formal occasions.
The highlight of the collection is the seamlessly beautiful transition of the case into the watch bracelet. This aesthetic element gives the watches in the collection a more unified and integrated appearance besides imparting them with a unique touch. For the opulently inclined, there are stunning models with diamond studded bezels. The delicately round dials come in attractive colour options including light blue, purple, lustrous white mother of pearl and more.
The functions of the watch are simple yet efficient, featuring hours and minutes in some models and an additional seconds in others. A few come with a date window to give a holistic view of time. The watches are powered by a precise quartz movement that enables efficency and reliability.
World famous actresses such as Kristen Scott Thomas and Helena Bonham Carter have endorsed the collection.
