The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 81315  for women is a timepiece which showcases a fine display of feminine style and comfort. This special edition is the feminine version of the Datjust series for men.
The delicately round-shaped dial is made of Goldust Dream, a unique kind of white mother of pearl which beautifully reflects light to create a brilliant shimmer. Intricately detailed with a stunning platinum motif, the dial is truly a one of a kind wonder.
The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 81315 features Roman numerals and stick style markers both of which are made of Everose Gold. The 6 o’ clock marker is encrusted with finely cut diamonds, adding to the overall opulence of the timepiece . Made of highly scratch- resistant and anti-reflective Sapphire crystal, the case window  also features a Cyclops lens over the date display for enhanced readability.
A 34 mm Oyster monobloc middle case encompasses the mechanics of the watch. A smooth bezel set with diamonds imparts the 18 carat everose gold case with a lavishly elegant finish. Adding to the feminine grace of the watch is the pearlmaster rounded  five piece links bracelet made of 18 ct everose gold. It features a concealed folding crown clasp for a clean, uninterrupted appearance.
The perpetual, mechanical self winding movement of the watch enables it to harness energy  from your wrist movements so you can incorporate it as a part of your daily wardrobe. A  2235 caliber chronometer certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), thedevice keeps time with military precision regardless of external environmental conditions. Attached with a twin lock winding screw, this watch is water- resistant to a depth of 100 meters.
Interesting Facts
Rolex is the only watch manufacturer in the world that manufactures its own gold be it everose, yelosor or white from pure 24k gold.

The Datejust collection was introduced by Rolex in the year 1945. This was the first wristwatch to display automatically changing date through an opening on the dial.

Featuring a classic design and iconic style, the Datejust features a date window located at the 3 o’clock position for your ease in viewing. The date aperture showcases the Cyclops lens on the top, the most distinctive feature of Rolex watches. This lens magnifies the date by approximately two and half times for clear legibility. The watches in this collection have an oyster case, which is clamped shut and extremely robust. The core of the oyster consists of a screw-down case and a signed screw-down crown with twinlock system. This system renders the watches water-resistant up to 100 metres, enabling you to wear them for poolside swimming and snorkelling. The Datejust watches come with two classic Rolex bracelets, either the Jubilee or the Oyster. The Jubilee is a five-piece metal link bracelet with a concealed Crownclasp fitted at the end, and the Oyster is a broad three-piece metal link bracelet, which is quite popular because of its classic appeal. These watches have a standard 36 mm case, and are equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement manufactured by Rolex, the calibre 3135.

A Datejust was presented to an eminent gentleman by Hans Wilsdorf in 1947, on the 100,000th officially certified chronometer celebrated by the brand. The identity of this gentleman has not been revealed till this day. Christian Bale was seen wearing the Rolex Datejust 16013, in the movie American Pyscho. A Datejust has also been worn by Paul Newman in the movie The Color of Money, Bill Murray in the film Lost in Translation, and by various male characters in The Informers.
