History
Rado originated as a small watchworks factory in Lengnau, Switzerland in the year 1917. In 1957, the factory came up with its first collection of watches under the brand name Rado. Henceforth, it was called the Rado Uhren A.G. In 1968, they became part of the ASUAG group. A few years later, ASUAG was acquired by the SMH Group. Since 1998, this group has been known as the Swatch Group.
The company’s founders were firm believers in the efficacy of technology. Using materials like hardmetal, ceramics, lanthanum and sapphire crystal, they completely changed the face of the world of watch-manufacturing. The Rado DiaStar, launched in 1962, was a product of the continuous efforts of innovation. It was the world’s first range of scratch-proof watches. In 2004, as recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records, the company manufactured the hardest watch on earth, the V10K.

Design
A revival of the original Coupole line launched in 1987, this R22850013 classic watch comes with a polished stainless steel metal bracelet, with sophistication and durability combine into one form.
